Vice-President

Tran graduated from the University of Florida with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree in 2016. Shortly after graduating with her BSN degree, she began her career as a registered nurse on a medical progressive care unit, where she practiced at for the next 5 years. After completing her first year as an RN, Tran returned back to the academic setting to pursue her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Central Florida and graduated in 2020. The primary objectives of her doctoral capstone project were improving skin cancer screening, education, and the dermatology referral process in the primary care setting. While she was pursuing her doctorate degree, she was able to gain exposure to both medical and cosmetic dermatology by being mentored under experienced dermatology providers such as Dr. Patricia Delgado, DCNP. She quickly realized that she loved all aspects of dermatology and hopes to become a well-rounded dermatology provider someday.

Currently, she is the lead aesthetic nurse practitioner at a large medical aesthetics practice and has been working in aesthetics for almost 1 year now. Tran is also really passionate about skin care and enhancing one’s natural beauty through aesthetic procedures. She also stays engaged by serving as vice president of the Florida Chapter of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association. In the future, she plans on obtaining certifications in both aesthetics and dermatology. In her spare time, she enjoys being a local foodie, reading books, and spending time with her family.
